Who we are

At EcoLaunch we provide customized development programs that advise and transform businesses who are ready to enter the global marketplace. Through our programming businesses can apply for the launch and grow program or jumpstart program depending on the stage of their business. With a keen focus on the customer and market through the fourteen-week acceleration program the businesses are provided with the modeling tools and consultation to help better understand their market and expand into global markets. We have a particular interest in the types of businesses that can do some good in the world.

Alongside our programs that help to launch businesses we have programs that help to develop and train an eager workforce that is desires to work within a startup or seeks to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

Our Name

Eco – {root word eco meaning dwelling place} represents an ecosystem. We believe we are creating a business ecosystem where any entrepreneur can find the tools and business networks they need under one roof with the intention that they will grow.

Launch – represents a takeoff. Helping businesses to launch and grow into more sustainable and profitable global businesses beyond their local starting point.

Founder

Jewel Thompson

Jewel Thompson is the founder of EcoLaunch. She is an award-winning social impact strategist with over ten years of experience working with NGOs, social enterprises, and start-ups. She has been invited to speak on her work and facilitate training and workshops within the United States, Europe, and Ghana. She is an assistant lecturer of entrepreneurship at Ashesi University and researcher. She is passionate about businesses that lead to impact. She is the principal consultant for Efie Consulting Group. She is also the co-founder of LITH, Africa a mind health and wellness platform that supports the well-being of African university students. A former World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Acumen West African Fellow, 30 under 30 recipient and Fast Company World Changing Ideas 2021 honoree she’s a woman on a mission.
